TrustedAuxiliary collects limited information necessary to operate the Board, verify submissions, process payments, and maintain site integrity.

2. Information We Collect

• Submission data: business name, category, state, license type/issuer, contact preference, and listing description.
• Verification context you provide: license lookup URLs or supporting details.
• Payment metadata from Stripe: checkout/session IDs, subscription status. (We do not store full card numbers.)
• Basic technical logs: IP address, device/browser details, and event logs for security and abuse prevention.

3. How We Use Information

• To review submissions and verify business existence and license status.
• To publish listings and manage time-limited visibility windows.
• To enable contact based on the submitter's selected contact preference.
• To process payments and manage Verified subscription status.
• To prevent fraud, abuse, scraping, or unauthorized access.

4. Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We share information only as necessary to operate the service:

• With Stripe for payment processing.
• With hosting and database providers (e.g., Vercel, Supabase) to operate the site.
• When required by law, subpoena, or valid legal process.

5. Retention

We retain submission and payment metadata as needed for operations, compliance, dispute handling, and security. Expired listings may remain in our system but are not publicly visible unless republished.

6. Security

We use reasonable technical and administrative measures to protect data. No system is perfectly secure.

7. Your Choices

You may request correction of listing contact details. You may request removal of a listing. Removal does not necessarily delete all records retained for compliance or security.
